Thales and Obvios cooperate to provide secure solutions for private 5G core networks, combining Thales “eSIM as a Service” and Obvios “Dome”

April 23, 2024 Hannover

Thales and Obvios have joined forces to offer secure solutions for private networks. By integrating Obvios' "Dome" core network and Thales' "eSIM as a Service", the companies seek to deliver end-to-end security and eSIM profile provisioning using Thales APIs.

This cooperation aims to provide a comprehensive, robust, and reliable solution for private 5G networks, serving sectors that span across manufacturing, transportation and logistics, healthcare, energy and utilities, and more.

Thales’ eSIM as a service and Obvios’ Dome are complementary solutions that build a secure chain of solutions for the deployment, provisioning, and operation of a private 5G network. Obvios considers “eSIM as a service” a key building block in its vision of secure private 5G core networks
